Technical organization, liability and insurance by Promo Tours
-Promo Tours is special for making short documentaries and photographs for your trips in Salalah and sending them to your email.
-Children up to 2 years of age participate for free.
-A 100% penalty is foreseen for cancellations communicated 24 hours before the departure of the excursion.
-The excursions must be paid for when booking with an assistant.
-Cash (OMR or EURO), credit/debit cards (except American Express and Maestro) are accepted for the payment of the excursions. In the case of payment by credit card/debit card, there is a 3% surcharge as per national regulation.
-Each excursion requires a minimum number of 2 to 4 participants.
-Personal objects are to be considered the sole responsibility of the owners.
-It is possible to change the itinerary or program to another day due to force majeure or adverse weather conditions or have the possibility for a 50% refund.
-The correspondent reserves the right to modify itineraries and times or to postpone excursions when climatic conditions make it necessary to guarantee the safety and quality of the service.
-It is not possible to charge the amount of the excursions to the room account.
-The excursions purchased by the customer on site, not included in the package price, are unrelated to the object of the related contract.
-While some abusive operators may have lower prices, the chance of misservices, defaults, and/or accidents of various types is very significant. We advise you to limit your search to operators who have the authorizations required by local regulations. We disclaim all liability for issues resulting from excursions booked through other companies.
Overview
The Sultanate of Oman’s Dhofar Governorate contains the Salalah state, which contains the city of Salalah. It is the administrative headquarters, the second capital of Oman, the capital of Dhofar, and the tourist and business centre of the country. It is distinguished by the potential for natural tourism that God gave it. In addition to having many tropical coconut trees with fruits that resemble coconuts and are sold there in large quantities, Salalah is known for its incense, frankincense, bananas, and fava beans.
With a population of roughly 300,000, Salalah ranks third in terms of population among the cities in the Sultanate of Oman. Salalah is known for its beautiful scenery and tourism. Due to its extensive green plains, valleys, and mountains, we observe a significant increase in the number of European and Arab tourists visiting it throughout the winter months.
Also don’t forget about the Empty Quarter desert, which is located between the Sultanate of Oman, Yemen, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A tourism camp run by our company, Promo Tours, is in the middle of these high sand dunes and provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner to our valued guests and customers with the option of spending the night there.
